VSNL - Videsh Sanchar Nigam Limited is a high profile spammer

I signed up for one of their Internet connection package long back, I had to give them my email ID which perhaps was one of the worst mistake I ever made about Email Management. Unlike spammers who try to hide under the veil of anonymous mail IDs and non-sounding domain names, they are spamming their [...]

In India, It is illegal to open offices on 26th January and 15th August

I was just told that it is illegal to work on the 26th January (Republic Day) and 15th August (Independence Day) in India. I’m not sure if this is good or bad but it is weird that the cops can jail you if you have your office opened on these days.

FlickrLeech

FlickrLeech is a Flickr based free service that allows you to find interesting photos for any given day. I really like this feature and make it a point to visit it everyday and see all the interestingness for that day. Besides that, it can leech by username, useer id, favorites, photosets and group pool.

For instance;

http://www.flickr.com/recent_activity.gne?days=30.
Replace that with
http://www.flickr.com/recent_activity.gne?days=365
to view for a year.

Well, you might ask why [...]

Corporate Blogs

More and more corps are resorting to Blogs to communicate to the outside world. My impression of big corps being in total commune with the outside world, the developer, its clients, etc was with Macromedia, which was later acquired by Adobe.

Macromedia

MXNA, the Macromedia’s Weblog which also aggregates other weblogs related to Macromedia (and now Adobe) [...]
