I was trying to book 3 tickets from Air Deccan online for my brother, his wife and my niece Nishita but gave up after about 10 tries. The reason is that their Script do not work on Firefox. I do not have Internet Explorer on my Mac, how the hell do I book the ticket online? Instead of using generic simple Javascript (they could have even do some copy paste after a search on Google), they have used WScript which I am sure is generated by Front Page from Microsoft.
Well, I have never even thought of flying by Air Deccan because of their well known third class service, delays and the stink. With this frustrating tries, this is the final straw with this slum-like air company. They could have spend a few thousand Rupees more and make it working - I mean just make the website working (no fancy frills at all). I tried their ICICI Direct Debit which gave me a blank dead ASP page, I tried the ICICI Credit Card which gave away on the Script errors (a bunch of them), I even tried the CitiBank Credit Card option with similar errors. These morons will never come up to the standards and these are the major factors in dragging India down the growth of India.
My suggestions of Domestic Airlines in India in order of preference - Jet Airways (been a privilege member since 2003), KingFisher (have been flying with them a bit these days and they are good though I hate their loud read color everywhere), Indian Airlines.
