Well, personally I feel that Priyadarshan have rushed and have run faster than he should to get more fun, humor to the Indian cinegoers. He have definitely lost that Hera Pheri charm, the Hungama fun. Bhagam Bhag was not a bad movie at all, it was good enough to take away your tiresome day with the we-all-know-what-is-coming jokes, humor and getups. Bhagam Bhag tries to be the typical Priyadarshan’s embedded laughter amidst a riot, a confusion. The movie is good for a quick laugh, nothing beyond that and is not worth a second watch. The movie fail again with the fact that it is messy, cluttered, unclean, stupid situations. Or may be that is what the movie’s intend was all about.
In Bhagam Bhag, the lead roles are that of Bunty (Akshay Kumar) and Babla (Govinda) who are the members of a sing-dance troupe headed by their boss Champak (Paresh Rawal). The story started when they got a contract for a month long session in London but their main lady (one dance sequence cameo by Tanushree Dutta) left the troupe at the last minute. This lead to the search for an Indian lady who can replace the lead lady. Crossover that with a Drug Gang lord having a bad timing with Bunty and Babla, add the spice of suspense of a Wife Killer (Arbaaz Khan) and the vengeance from a Police Commissioner (Jacky Shroff) - completes the whole story.
It won’t do much justice with the story, just enjoy your 2 plus odd hours of fun and laughter straight off your lips, and don’t take anything to heart.
