I am not sure if this was in the pre Firefox 2 era, but I just found that I can merge two Firefox windows by doing a Ctrl+Shift+M (Should be Option+Shift+M on the Mac). If this is a new feature in Firefox 2, this is a cool one. I looked around but could not find any commands or menu listed for the same!

I found your story because I wanted to do just that, remembered that you used to be able to do it, and couldn’t remember how. I think it used to be an extension. So, thanks; now I can do it, again.
