Aquafina Water Bottles are indeed Tap Water

Pepsi Co. was indeed selling Tap Water bottled and labeled at a price way too costly for tap water. Sales of bottled water has been a growing source of revenue for companies such as PepsiCo Inc., and Coca-Cola as they lessen their dependence on sales of traditional carbonated sodas, as consumer concern over health issues has weakened demand.

Pepsi Co’s brand owner have confirmed that, “The label on Aquafina water bottles will soon be changed to spell out that the drink comes from the same source as tap water.”

Bipasha Basu bares it all on her Blog

Bipasha BasuBipasha Basu proudly claims that John is still with him, “John has never had just a fleeting interest in anything. Not his bikes, his business ventures, his endorsements or his relationships. Either he’s totally engrossed in them, or he’s not. So ladies, despite what I may read in the papers in the morning, I know he’s coming back to me at night.”

She further says, “If the media is to be believed, John apparently has no consistent taste in women, so he chases every woman that the media finds available. If half of their insecurities for me were true, I would be a nervous wreck. I’m also aware that our continued togetherness doesn’t sell newspapers. Our real and imagined miseries do.”

Partner

Katrina KaifWell, they did rip-off the 2005 flick – Hitch; not just the storyline but many scenes were not spared. However, the rip-off bollywood version – Partner – turn out to be an awesome laugh-out-loud movie; all thanks to Govinda.

There are good actors and bad actors and there are extremely irritating, bull-shit actors. Govinda was one of the later long back. That extreme irritation and stupidity made me watch his movies just to have the feeling of “scratching an itch” and began to enjoy his irritating acts (some people still gets really irritated till date). Don’t get me wrong but Govinda is a freak, an overdose of dance-moves-of-unmovable-bones, story-telling-twisted-lips-acting and what not. That is what he did in Partner – an overdose of everything – inspite of his role where he has to act more like the coy, weird and reckless type (the like of Albert played Kevin James in Hitch).

Got my copy of Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows

Just got my copy of Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows. Will do a review once I finished reading it.

Few days back, TorrentFreak reported the leak of the book complete with photographs on the internet. Techcrunch was legally attacked by Scholastic for publishing the news and an image of the leaked photograph.

The book was released in India today, the 21st July, 2007.

Naqaab: Disguised Intentions

Naqaab: Disguised IntentionsShanta argued that if we go for Harry Potter than, we should also watch Naqaab. Well, she saw Bobby, Akshaye and Urvashi that day and felt that it would be a good movie with their publicity stunt getting into her head. Alright, the movie was pathetic and I would suggest a “Skip It” option and wait for their CD (yes, not even worth a DVD) version or better yet wait for the TV version.

Of course, it is the Bollywood version of another not-so-good Hollywood flick – dot the i; no surprise there! dot the i took place in London whereas Naqaab took place in Dubai. Your memories may also give you flashbacks of The Truman Show and The Graduate.

Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix

Harry Potter and the Order of the PhoenixThe Order of the Phoenix is perhaps the one in the Harry Potter series that stayed truest to J.K. Rowling‘s Book and by far the best movie in its series.

The Harry Potter series have already become much dark since The Goblet of Fire, it is in the Order of the Phoenix that we saw the full blown wizardry of Harry Potter (Daniel Radcliffe), however punctuated with many flaws and foibles just like a normal grown-up teenager. He is the hero, but he have crushes on girls, worries about his boyhood just like any other boys his age. He even finds it really hard to talk to his classmate Cho Chang (Katie Leung) than confronting the evil Voldemort (Ralph Fiennes). Nonetheless, this is the year that Harry gets his first kiss, a passionate one with Cho Chang.
