Delhi’s Deputy Mayor died after being attacked by a horde of monkeys
The Deputy Mayor of Delhi, India’s Capital City, SS Bajwa succumbed to his injuries after being attacked by monkeys. Bajwa was admitted to the Intensive Care Unit of Apollo Hospital on Saturday with multiple injuries and his condition deteriorated later leading to his death on Sunday morning.
Bajwa suffered serious head injuries when he fell from the first-floor terrace of his home on Saturday morning trying to fight off a horde of wild monkeys. Bajwa was elected to the Municipal Corporation of Delhi for the first time in April, 2007. He is survived by a wife and a son.
