Abhishek was set to marry Aishwarya on the 20th of this month. Media speculations had begun well in advance. However as the d-day drew closer, the media just lost it. I wanted to write about this last week itself, but the whole episode just made me sooooo nauseated. I mean, its not like someones getting married for the first time on this planet. The media just overdid the whole thing. Whats the big deal about a celeb getting married?
Apart from the media there was some girl claming to have married Abhishek. For lord’s sake when will these cheepos stop vying for publicity. It was a damn cheap publicity stunt.
Even the Bachans were acting too pricy. I agree that a wedding is a very personal matter. But they are celebrities, and they just can’t avoid the media glare. It wouldn’t be too much to ask for if the newly weds just came forth and posed for a few minutes for the paparazzi. What with the black commandos thrashing the life out of one media person. Such unwanted scenes could’ve been avoided.
Even the guest list thing was soo cheap. You invite just individual people. But then nobody wants to go to a wedding alone. Big B might have given some statements explaining this issue but it just doesn’t sound logical.
