Ghost Rider

Ghost RiderThe movie is Marvel’s Comic adaptation of the same title. Ghost rider is about a stunt motorcycle, Johnny Blaze (Nicholas Cage) who does Motorcycle jumps at circuses along with his Father. One day, he discovered that his father, who is a chain smoker, was suffering from cancer. Johnny somehow entered into a contract with Mephistophele (Peter Fonda) or more popularly the devil to give up his soul to save his father. The devil cures his father of his cancer but took away his life by creating an accident with one of his stunt.

As Johnny have already entered into the contract, he becomes the Ghost Rider, an agent of the Devil. Johnny somehow becomes a millionaire stunt motorcycle rider. Well, then the villain, Blackheart comes into the picture. He is looking for a contract that contains many souls, a contact that the Devil also wants. Johnny is commissioned to action by the Devil. Blackheart found out that Johnny have a soft corner heart for Roxanne Simpson (Eva Mandes) and he uses her against Johnny.

Nothing really new, nothing really spectacular. You can go watch Eva Mandes butt, I read on promos that she was specially fed to fatten up her butts and try to come little closer to Frank Miller’s creation. Another thing to watch for is some of the good Computer Graphics Effects though not all are good. The fire on the skull thingy is good and looks impressive. The movie did try to get the story and is good for people who have never read the Ghost Rider Comic.

I did not know there is Ghost Rider comics. I just watched this movie over the weekend and absolutely loved it! The CG graphics is pretty well done and the actions are cool. ooh and i fell in love with Eva Mendes… she’s hot! ;-)

My favorite scene from the movie is the one where Johny turns his normal bike to the cool looking mean machine and when he and the other rider(in the horse) ride together.

Got here via Brajeshwar’s comments. I was a Marvel comic fan during my childhood, i guess I still am and the Ghost Rider comics formed part of my collection. Looking forward to the movie and not for Medes’ butt.
