James Bond’s Miss MoneyPenny - Lois Maxwell
BBC News reports of the dead of the original Miss Moneypenny of the James Bond franchise, Lois Maxwell. A spokesperson for Fremantle Hospital, Western Australia, said she died there on Saturday evening.
Lois Maxwell started off as Miss Moneypenny with the first James Bond movie - Dr. No (1962) which stars Sir Sean Connery as the role of James Bond. She continued with the role until A View to a Kill (1985) with Sir Roger Moore. Maxwell starred in 14 Bond movies as the secretary to M, the secret agent’s boss and head of the secret service. Aged 58 when she made her final Bond appearance, she was replaced by 26-year-old Caroline Bliss for The Living Daylights.
