Amitabh Bachchan’s mother Teji Bachchan passes away today. She was 93. For almost a year, she was in the Lilavati Hospital, Mumbai due to her prolonged illness. News reports of her being in the Intensive Care Unit since early November this year. She succumb to her illness and passes away today, Friday, the 22nd December, 2007. By birth, she is a Sikh from Karachi.
She is the second wife of Harivansh Rai Bachchan, a renouned actor as well as a singer. Harivansh Rai passed away back in the year 2003 at the age of 96. My condolences to the Bachchan family.
As usual, the roads around both of Amitabh’s home at Juhu was packed and jammed since afternoon. It took me quite a bit of time to go pass that road!
