The site for The Dark Knight is up! It is the sequal to Batman Begins and is expected to be released next summer – 18 July 2008 (USA).
We will be seeing Christian Bale again as Batman and will be helping the cops – Gordon (Gary Oldman) and Harvey Dent (Aaron Eckkart) track down a killer who goes by the name of The Joker played by Heath Ledger.
Rachal Dawes will be played by Maggie Gyllenhaal and of course we have Morgan Freeman as Lucius Fox helping Batmn with the bat gadgets. Batman will still be in the confidence of ALfred played by Michael Caine for the ultimate secret (who is Batman) and emotional guidance including medicines, foods and of course having his jackets ready for action.
It is believed that this will be the first Batman film not to have a June premiere.

2007 21st May: We’re getting closer and closer to getting a look at Heath Ledger in the Joker makeup he’ll be sporting for The Dark Knight. Progress is slow, however, and The Clown Prince of Crime’s face is being revealed only one pixel at a time. The altered image of Harvey Dent soon dissolves into a partially revealed image of The Joker.
