That is the pathetic plight of the current Mumbai Traffic. Earlier, I thought Pune was the city that do not follow Traffic rules but Mumbai is now ahead in the competition. Pedestrian would try to cut across wherever and whenever they can, if anything happens, then the vehicle drivers are to be blame. I was once told strictly by my Driving instructor to avoid 2 things in Mumbai at all cost - Human Pedestrian and Bicycle riders. Very True, I guess.
If you look at the above video, you’ll realize that the vehicles that should be stopping behind the zebra crossing are well ahead and almost crossed the road making it extremely difficult for the vehicles coming from the other side to move pass fast and easily. Many a times, this has led to Traffic Jam and nobody learns. Nobody is ready to let the other pass and follow the traffic rules. I am sometimes the fool, stupid person for obstructing the vehicles behind me because I am not moving forward - but behind the zebra crossing when the light is red. I’m the weird guy for following traffic rules!
